CSX Lines, LLC serves the domestic trades to and from the United
States, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
Operating 16 U.S.-Flag containership vessels, CSX Lines also
provides over 27,000 containers including advanced technology refrigerated
units (reefers), insulated containers, vehicle carriers, and standard shapes
and sizes as well as flat bed equipment and open tops.
The company consists of 680 employees spread throughout North
America and the offshore terminals and 20 sales offices.
CSX Lines operates terminal facilities at Anchorage, Kodiak and
Dutch Harbor in Alaska; Apra Harbor in Guam; Honolulu in Hawaii; and San Juan
in Puerto Rico.

1986. The international segment of the business was sold to A.P. Moeller -
Maersk Line in 1999, with the domestic service retained by CSX.
